This lavatory/gallery subtlety immerse its users in the Jamaican culture. The design utilizes different architectural and interior design elements from our mixed heritage spanning from European to African influences. Culture is embedded in its people and history and Jamaica’s culture is diverse and vibrant as seen in our music, food, dances, and our contribution to athletics. The interior design boasts a clean white ceiling and floor plane contrasted by the rhythm and flow of the colors of the national flag, different texture and materiality ranging from brick to timber and the use of greenery expressing the naturality of the island.
